Experience

RSM - Watch Straps
Freelance Industrial Designer
(Dec 2024 - Mar 2025)

• Collaborated with the founder to design custom-made, innovative solutions for their watch strap clasps within a tight timeframe.
   

• Supported the design process by ensuring that solutions were within manufacturing constraints, and adjusted for manufacturer's ability, effectively reducing friction between idea and production.

DLX Design Lab @ IIS Tokyo
Design Intern

• Led a collaborative design project with UTokyo science labs to conceptualise packaging solutions using stimuli-sensitive color-changing material.
   

• Worked closely with an international team to conceptualise and prototype a composting unit utilising black soldier flies.
   

• Designed and prototyped effective solutions for concrete tetrapod cleaning on Japan's beaches that were tested by the community.
   

• Involved in the setup and facilitation of various design workshops led by the Lab, including event photography.

• Spearheaded the conceptualisation of an innovative printer concept for Gen Z, through industrial design, UI prototyping and communication with various stakeholders.
   

• Onboarded and assisted in the development of a new low-cost printer, alongside ideation for potential interfaces.
